Shadow Show is an uncompromising power trio from Detroit, Michigan, that combines elements of 60’s garage-psychedelia into a 21st century modern pop-art incarnation. Sleek and spellbinding, the music sweeps you up into frenetic grooves and dazzling harmonies. Their music pushes the boundaries of what can be, yet remains deeply rooted in the raw, untouchable Detroit sound.

Cheekface is composed of Greg Katz, Amanda Tannen, and drummer Mark “Echo” Edwards. They stick close to the blend of post-punk and power pop they first explored on their 2019 debut “Therapy Island” and honed across 2021’s “Emphatically No.” But new to their recent album, the chatty indie rock outfit lets the music do the talking at times, like in the winding dance break of LCD-esque “Featured Singer,” the explosion of guitarmonies on “You Always Want to Bomb the Middle East,” and the majestic Moog melody of album closer “Vegan Water.”
