Added note: Tom Paxton’s “My Favorite Spring,” a touching tale about a baseball player, was one of the late Jill Costa’s all-time fave songs. Back in the day Jill hit the road to NYC’s Greenwich Village, meeting up with a bunch of great folksingers such as Tom and the late Phil Ochs; she treasured her experiences during that exciting musical scene.
