WRUW-FM 91.1 Cleveland, now celebrating its 50th year broadcast, will commission an artist to design a mural for placement inside our station. The purpose of the mural will be to celebrate WRUW, college radio, and Cleveland.
Artists are invited to submit artwork for a 12′ x 4′ mural that will be placed inside WRUW-FM 91.1 Cleveland, located at 11220 Bellflower Rd, Cleveland, OH 44106.
Eligibility
This call is open to all qualified artists, 18 and older and living or working in Ohio.
Budget
The artist selected will be paid a $500 stipend to produce a conceptual design for and paint a mural, as well as $300 for materials.
Submission requirements
Interested artists are asked to submit their design and one-page letter of interest why they would be interested in working on this project.
Additionally, artists should provide a link to an online portfolio or image sheet with no fewer than five and no more than 20 images of previous or relevant work.
All submission materials must be in a commonly accessible electronic format.
Process
Artists’ qualifications will be reviewed by a selection panel of WRUW’s executive staff.
