SUMMARY:Passion Pit "The Pretty Penny" Tour
DESCRIPTION:Doors 7 PM | Show 8 PM \nALL AGES \nMichael Angelakos started Passion Pit in college as nothing more than a way to make his friends dance. \nThe first iteration of the band formed in 2007\, consisting of Ian Hultquist\, Ayad Al Adhamy\, Jeff Apruzzese\, and Nate Donmoyer. They played small sold-out shows around Boston\, and were named Best New Band by the Boston Phoenix. Passion Pit’s debut EP\, ‘Chunk of Change’\, was self-released in 2008. The EP’s sole single\, ‘Sleepyhead’\, written by Angelakos in under 2 hours\, became an iconic track of the aughts and has been certified 2x Platinum. The song was later featured on Passion Pit’s first full-length studio album\, ‘Manners’\, released in May of 2009. Following the release of ‘Manners’\, Passion Pit became a festival staple and a fan-favorite live act. \nPassion Pit’s 2nd full-length album\, ‘Gossamer’\, was released in July of 2012. The album received much critical acclaim\, reaching #4 on the US Billboard charts. The album’s lead single\, ‘Take a Walk’\, has been certified 2x Platinum in the US. As Rolling Stone wrote in naming ‘Take A Walk’ the 3rd best song of 2012: “…you are reminded why pop songs exist: to help mute the\npain.” \nThree years later\, Passion Pit released ‘Kindred’\, peaking at #2 on the US Alternative Chart. In 2017\, to raise awareness for scientific research for mental health treatment\, Angelakos self-released ‘Tremendous Sea of Love’\, on YouTube. The album received strong reviews from critics and fans\, particularly for its masterful use of synths. \nEarly in his career\, Angelakos became a pioneer in the music industry for being an outspoken advocate for mental health\, speaking publicly about his own experience living with bipolar disorder and how the industry could support artists better. \nCurrently Passion Pit is led by Angelakos with Giuliano Pizzulo\, Eric Scullin\, Denzel Cox\, and Ben Barter.

SUMMARY:Ratboys - When The Sun Explodes Tour w/ Shallowater
DESCRIPTION:Doors 7 PM | Show 8 PM \nALL AGES \nDespite its title\, RATBOYS’ new album Singin’ to an Empty Chair is not defined by what’s missing. Rather\, it’s the beginning of an important dialogue with a close loved one\, vocalist Julia Steiner finds herself estranged from. The music on the band’s sixth studio album – its first for New West Records – fills the space that person left behind with 11 songs showcasing Ratboys at the peak of their powers — twangy\, effervescent\, as confident as they’ve ever been\, and perhaps more emotionally interrogative than ever before. The four-piece Chicago band followed up 2023’s highly acclaimed The Window by reconvening with co-producer Chris Walla to begin tracking at a rural Wisconsin cabin before taking the songs to Steve Albini’s famed Electrical Audio studios in Chicago and later to Rosebud Studio in Evanston\, Illinois. The results veer from bubbly power-pop on “Anywhere” to irresistible post-country on “Penny in the Lake\,” along with heart-piercing ballads like “Just Want You to Know the Truth” and an exhilarating detour into the extraterrestrial on “Light Night Mountains All That\,” which Steiner dubs the band’s mammoth “wormhole jam.” Singin’ to an Empty Chair also marks the first Ratboys album written since Steiner began therapy\, which the singer/lyricist credits for the clarity found across the album’s unflinching examinations of relationship and self. Fittingly\, as the album begins by extending a hand into the void\, it concludes with a scene of serenity – all while weaving candid honesty\, humor\, chaos\, and whimsy along the way. “It’s not all doom and gloom\,” Steiner says. “The experience of making this record definitely gives me hope for whatever happens next.”

SUMMARY:SLIFT
DESCRIPTION:Doors 7 PM | Show 8 PM \nALL AGES \nEvery previous album by the radiant and heavy French trio SLIFT—brothers Jean and Rémi Fossat and drummer Canek Flores\, a friend since high school – has been a fantasia—a composite of genres and forms that allowed the band to improvise\, to jam on themes until they seemed to spiral together into space. But\, in a bit of intentional irony\, SLIFT’s fourth album is called Fantasia without actually being one. It is\, instead\, their leanest and most direct record\, a pointed saga about overcoming international upheaval delivered by a band bearing down without wasting a second. SLIFT didn’t want to lose the message by playing too much. They’re preparing for a battle they think we can still win. \nAs Jean Fossat wrote the core of Fantasia\, he thought a lot about Jorge Luis Borges\, the Argentinian author whose fiction deftly wove elements of magic and surreality into places and plots that almost felt real. (SLIFT even borrowed the song title “Orbis Tertius” from Borges.) Fantasia\, then\, is an imagined town plagued by a sense of unknowing and xenophobia\, of trying to eliminate anything that disrupts the accepted order. The town comes into focus on “Corrupted Sky\,” where Fossat’s narrator tries to dodge doom upon arriving there. Hope starts to emerge during the record’s back half\, as people start to remember that they are more than their society’s oppressive uniformity. These eight songs\, then\, are about trusting in the power to fight back\, however hidden it may seem.

SUMMARY:Eggy: Something In The Air Tour
DESCRIPTION:Doors 7 PM | Show 8 PM \nALL AGES \n$26 advance / $31 day of show \nEggy is redefining the modern jam band experience with a blend of rich songwriting\, exploratory improvisation\, and magnetic live energy. The Connecticut-based quartet—Jake Brownstein (guitar\, vocals)\, Dani Battat (keys\, vocals)\, Mike Goodman (bass\, vocals)\, and Alex Bailey (drums\, vocals)—has built a reputation for emotionally resonant songs and live performances that turn every set into an unpredictable\, communal experience. \n2024 marked a breakout moment for the band with the release of their sophomore album Waiting Game\, a refined studio statement co-produced by White Denim’s James Petralli. The album propelled Eggy into their largest headline touring year to date\, while earning standout performances at major festivals including Austin City Limits\, Electric Forest\, and Suwannee Hulaween. \nThat momentum only accelerated through 2025. Eggy continued expanding their footprint with extensive headline touring\, a growing list of festival appearances\, and a reputation as one of the most consistently compelling live acts in the jam and rock space. Around Halloween\, the band sold out back-to-back nights at Cervantes in Denver\, transforming the city into a pilgrimage site for fans with their themed run celebrating The Ballad of Blucifer. The shows underscored the band’s ability to create moments that feel both playful and deeply meaningful\, while proving their staying power in key markets. \nAs they look ahead to 2026\, Eggy enters a new chapter defined by confidence\, creative ambition\, and sustained growth. With continued headline touring on the horizon and plans to begin creating new music in early 2026\, the band is focused on pushing their sound forward without losing the emotional core that has defined them. From intimate rooms to sold-out club runs and marquee festival stages\, Eggy continues to convert first-time listeners into lifelong fans. Wherever they play next\, one thing remains constant: no two shows are ever the same\, and the journey is just getting started.
