SUMMARY:Snarky Puppy: Somni Tour 2026
DESCRIPTION:Doors 7 PM | Show 8 PM \nALL AGES \nAfter a decade of relentless touring and recording in all but complete obscurity\, the Texas-bred/New York-based quasi-collective suddenly found itself held up by the press and public as one of the major figures in the jazz world. But as the category names for all five of the band’s Grammy® awards would indicate (Best R&B Performance in 2014\, Best Contemporary Instrumental Album in 2016\, 2017\, 2021\, and 2023)\, Snarky Puppy isn’t exactly a jazz band. It’s not a fusion band\, and it’s definitely not a jam band. It’s probably best to take Nate Chinen of the New York Times’ advice\, as stated in an online discussion about the group\, to “take them for what they are\, rather than judge them for what they’re not.” \nSnarky Puppy is a collective of sorts with as many as 25 members in regular rotation. They each maintain busy schedules as sidemen (with such artists as Erykah Badu\, Snoop Dogg\, Kendrick Lamar\, and D’Angelo)\, producers (for Kirk Franklin\, David Crosby\, and Salif Keïta)\, and solo artists (many of whom are on the band’s indy label\, GroundUP Music). At its core\, the band represents the convergence of both black and white American music culture with various accents from around the world. Japan\, Argentina\, Canada\, the United Kingdom\, and Puerto Rico all have representation in the group’s membership. But more than the cultural diversity of the individual players\, the defining characteristic of Snarky Puppy’s music is the joy of performing together in the perpetual push to grow creatively.

SUMMARY:Frog w/ Napsack and Wrinkled Beige Linen
DESCRIPTION:Doors 7:30 PM | Show 8:30 PM \nALL AGES \nFrog is a 2-3 person guitar band from the swamp in New Rochelle\, NY. They issued their self-titled debut mini-album “Frog” on Brooklyn’s now-defunct Monkfish Records\, which Gold Flake Paint called “The best American guitar record of the year. Seriously. It’s like every cult band from the past decade bottled into half an hour of music.” The duo returned in 2015 with their highly acclaimed debut LP “Kind of Blah” on the UK’s Audio Antihero Records\, which included the fan-favorite singles “Judy Garland” and “Photograph.” Frog promoted the album with a tour of the UK\, which was later documented in the 2018 film ‘Kings of Blah’. In November 2018\, they issued their long-awaited follow-up\, “Whatever We Probably Already Had It” mini-LP on Audio Antihero. This was followed in August 2019 with the freak-folk opus “Count Bateman\,” featuring the sleeper stoner hit single\, “You Know I’m Down.”

SUMMARY:Gladie w/ Noun
DESCRIPTION:Doors 7 PM | Show 8 PM\nALL AGES\n$15 advance / $20 day of show \n\nNo Need To Be Lonely\, the latest from Philadelphia band Gladie\, is serene\, but for only just a moment. For a moment it’s a swirling dream\, like paper dancing in the wind\, as Augusta Koch’s voice filters in all calm and measured with words that crack the surface of the heart. “Small dose of humiliation/it keeps me humble/it keeps me waiting\,” she sings. And then a snap as incandescent rhythms arrive like wolves at the gate\, all guitar and drums like a whirling storm\, and the crack on the heart tears until it becomes an ocean. \nEach minute on No Need To Be Lonely is a memory carried out on the nerves of the body\, unshakable melodies that become blood in the veins. There is something about a good and perfect song that lives in your bones\, as if it has become a part of you. What has long been the unshakable core of Gladie’s prowess is Koch’s indelible strength as a songwriter\, a craft that has only been honed with time\, creating inalienable hits that will burrow in and never leave the core of your memories.

SUMMARY:Glixen + trauma ray w/ Her New Knife and Knifeplay
DESCRIPTION:Doors 7 PM | Show 7:45 PM \nALL AGES \n  \nGlixen is a Phoenix-based shoegaze band formed in 2020\, made up of vocalist/guitarist Aislinn Ritchie\, guitarist Esteban Santana\, bassist Sonia Garcia\, and drummer Keire Johnson. Arriving as a standout force in the American shoegaze renaissance\, Glixen blends heavy\, textured soundscapes with dreamy\, ethereal vocals—crafting music that nods to the genre’s roots while sounding distinctly modern. \nTheir sound draws from a wide range of influences\, including My Bloody Valentine\, Björk\, t.A.T.u.\, Godflesh\, and Hum\, resulting in songs that balance intensity and introspection. Aislinn’s lulling vocal delivery floats over walls of distortion and reverb\, creating a striking contrast that defines the band’s sonic identity. \nIn 2024\, Glixen released their sophomore EP\, quiet pleasures\, produced by Sonny DiPerri (DIIV\, My Bloody Valentine) and mastered by Dave Cooley (Paramore\, Rancid). Recorded at Pale Moon Ranch in Juniper Hills\, CA\, the five-track release showcases their growth—melding syrupy melodies\, heartfelt lyricism\, and dense guitar work into a deeply emotional and immersive experience. \nGlixen has toured with Interpol\, DIIV\, and Softcult\, and made their Coachella debut in 2025\, cementing their place at the forefront of the genre. Their name\, taken from a lovesliescrushing song\, speaks to their deep connection to shoegaze’s dreamy\, otherworldly spirit—while forging a sound that is unmistakably their own. \nCarnival\, the new EP from trauma ray\, finds the Fort Worth band capturing some of their strongest\, most intense\, and exploratory work within the boundaries of a whirlwind year. The breakout success of Chameleon\, their 2024 debut on Dais Records\, further established trauma ray amidst the current wave of shoegaze revivalists\, yet increasingly agile\, able to weave between scenes\, touring throughout 2025 with the likes of Deafheaven\, Loathe\, and Touché Amoré. A confluence of blitzing riffs and stark beauty\, their sound continues to evolve\, nodding to loud-quiet-loud greats across metal\, grunge\, and shoegaze from Slowdive to Smashing Pumpkins. Carnival delves into moodier\, more cerebral material\, like holding their past excursions against a funhouse mirror. There’s a distinct sense of unease in these songs\, built as a band in a fleeting window of time\, proving they work best under pressure and when pulling from the darkest corners of their subconscious.
